機場

幾年前,我坐著一口氣讀完了阿蘭·德波頓的《機場里的小旅行》。人們來了又走,這期間仿佛時間也凝固,因為在那里,我們不是在此處或彼處,而是在去往目的地的途中。

 

在中轉候機處尤為如此。

 

精神分析學家說,機場作為中轉地,承載了兒童走出依賴狀態、發現獨立自我的過程。這一論斷最先是由溫尼科特在他七十年代的研究中提出的。他認為,這個過程通常會涉及一個“過渡性客體”——這解釋了為何嬰兒和孩童對某個玩具或被毯有安全感,因為在孩子們逐漸開始探索獨立自我的過渡階段中,它們是不變的、可預測的。

 

這期間游戲和想象力是主宰,因而創造力最為豐富。

 

這些被毯、玩具、叮叮當當的玩意兒就是過渡性客體,它們在游戲過程中給孩子提供支持。

 

研究表明,如果我們成年人能穿越回這一過渡階段,我們就能重拾曾經的創造力和想象力。藝術家和富有創造性的人就能辦到這點。

 

我們都有各自的過渡性客體。它倒不一定還是我們三歲時玩的泰迪熊,也可能是一個用慣了的杯子,或者一雙重要演講時必穿的襪子。

 

我們依賴于某些物品,盡管自己渾然不覺。可是我們不許自己游戲,唯恐變得“幼稚”。

 

我們忘了游戲,但我們都需要去游戲。它能激發想象力、帶來希望、釋放自我。

 

我信奉游戲的價值。

 

我沉溺于過渡狀態。可能這也是我為什么享受機場時光,因為它賦予我靈感,讓我文思泉涌。我編著故事猜人們要去哪兒,也樂于品咂逗留于這非此非彼之地時的憂郁。

 

而且,在機場里,我格外確信自己能得償所愿。
