休息一下

十月和十一月的大部分日子我都在努力從那場頑固的感冒中掙脫出來——發燒,偏頭痛,頭疼,咳嗽,喉嚨痛,流鼻涕——感冒的各種症狀開始在我的身上輪番上演,不亦樂乎。有時候我會稍稍好些,但不久就又不得不受困在床上。

第一周,我病臥床榻盡享照顧。

第二周,我試著做些運動但差一點暈過去。但是我不甘於什麼事也不做。所以開始打掃衛生。
第三周,我開始感到厭倦和沮喪。我覺得自己很久沒有照看自己的博客。電子郵箱裏塞滿了來自讀者和朋友的信件。我甚至還沒開始寫我的電子書。我有的是時間,卻沒有任何精力。我努力試著寫東西,但是越是給自己壓力反作用就越大,頭疼得更加厲害了。

到第四周,我終於明白了早就該理解的信號,這個信號我曾經遇到過很多次:身體累了,它很虛弱,它需要得到恢復。

我不得不休息一下。

所以我休息了一下。不是不情不願地稍事休息,而是好好地享受我的休息。

這個休假不只是為我的身體,而且為我的大腦。我讓自己停止思考下一篇博客去寫什麼,也不去想電子書的下一個章節,不去想要回復存在郵箱裏的那些郵件。

該來的總會在適當的時候來到。

休息一下。照顧你自己。
